Provenance: Ricco Maresca Galllery, New York. This work is part of a body of work done in Ramirez's last years. This work, along with approximately 130 others, was given by Ramirez to Dr. Max Dunievits of DeWitt State Hospital where Ramirez spent the last fifteen years of his life. This work then passed to the family of Dr. Dunievits who, in 2007, invited Ricco/Maresca Gallery to represent them in the disposition of the drawings in their possession.
